Now's your chance to speak your mind and be free!

We've got a 5-question survey that takes literally 1 minute to complete. AND, bonus, complete the survey, and (while supplies last) you get a copy of the acclaimed book Eating to Save the Earth by local writers Linda Reibel and Ken Jacobsen. What a deal!

1 minute: 5 questions: free gift? Oh, c'mon: take the survey.
Thank You!!

Benefit Winner

Thank you to Eric, Erica and all the Millennium staff for a fun and delicious Farmers' Market Dinner/Benefit on Tuesday! $10 per dinner guest was donated to Om Organics programs, so thank you for your support!

We had a raffle for two weekly deliveries of fresh, seasonal organic produce from Farm Fresh To You (aka Capay Organic Farm), and the winner is...... Earl Killian, come on down! Congratulations. That's fresh food for you!

Adina Juices

This is where we give props to cool, local companies... San Francisco-based Adina was founded by folks from Senegal, France and the US, and they're producing some downright tasty organic juices based on traditional recipes from around the world.

Can we tempt you with Hibiscus Lemon "Bissap", Hibiscus Strawberry Pineapple Mint "California Kiss", Pineapple Ginger Lavender "Gin-Jah", or Lime Mint Jujube "Mojita"? Hehhck yeah.

Take a swig, gulp or sip, and join them on a new and refreshing journey -- all while supporting our own local community. Yea.

Scary TV

This fall, Monsanto and the American Farm Bureau Federation (with additional funding from the American Soybean Association, National Corn Growers Association, National Cotton Council, United Soybean Board and U.S. Grains Council) have teamed up to produce a weekly television series, America's Heartland, that will be offered to more than 300 public television stations to air in September.

The 20 half-hour episodes claim to raise awareness about the contribution American agriculture makes to the quality of life here and abroad. However, over 70 organizations suspect that the failure to include groups representing America's traditional family farmers indicates the series is a PR ploy by corporate agribusinesses.

Take a minute to join these many organizations asking public television executives to present more balanced coverage of corporate agriculture.
