Tasty Bites 7.13.05
Event updates and more extensive edibles every other week

Help spread the word & pass this on!

Let's Party!

Yes, it's that time again. Time to eat, drink, and be extra happy to celebrate all things local and organic.

On Tuesday, July 26th, Millennium Restaurant is hosting their popular Annual Farmer's Market Dinner, also a benefit for Om Organics! $10 per dinner guest will be donated to our programs supporting local, sustainable farms.

Come savor Eric Tucker's tantalizing five-course dinner highlighting ingredients from our small, family farmers; and/or sip some specialty infused cocktails at the bar. Several local farms (Capay Organic, Far West Fungi, Heirloom Organics, Mariquita Farm, among others) will be present with a mini-farmers' market table, and are sure to entertain you with their agricultural wit and charm.

Bring in a copy of this newsletter and get 10% off your meal and 50% off your infused cocktails from the bar. What a deal!

Make a reservation today: 415-345-3900 or click OpenTable.com. (Please call for parties of 5 or more.) See you there!

If you can't make it on the 26th, you can still help feed our fire! Thank you for your continued support!

Bi-Tasty

These Tasty Bites are going under cover and will be sent out bi-monthly now instead of each and every week.

You can always check our Events page for the latest events as they are announced.

And you can always catch up on your reading in our Om Newsletters archive online.

More New Places

The city has gone mad and is sprouting up (or at least renovating) more restaurants the past several weeks. Of course, the only ones we're going to tell you about are the ones that have cool, conscientious chefs and seasonal, sustainable foods. Get out there and show your support with your buying dollars (and help them pay the bills)!

Coco 500
Bizou has gotten redesigned and reculinarated (yes, that's a word). New name, new bar, new vibe, new menu. (But don't worry, some of the same signature dishes.) Mm, mm tasty.

Olivia
Nathan Peterson of Bay Wolf fame has his own place in Berkeley serving up 'globe-trotting fare and an egalitarian pricing structure'. (thx, zagat)
