Mecca and Exec. Chef. Stephen Barber present an a la carte menu featuring sustainably-raised lamb, morel mushrooms and Merlot. The week will also feature items from Chef Barber's signature, seasonal menu, featuring produce from their own Napa Valley farm, Tucker Ranch.

Tour Nan McEvoy’s 550-acre organic olive ranch in a spectacular valley near the Marin-Sonoma Border. Walk among the flowering orchards and wildflowers and learn how olives are grown. This organic ranch is working to link the farmscape with the landscape to increase wildlife habitat. Then tour the olive pressing facility and watch as oil is pressed or extracted from the olives. Then, taste the oil and, if you like, purchase a variety of products made with this wonderful farm product. Limited to the first 40 reservations received by mail. Pre-registration required.

Learn to Grow Your Own Food

Do you have a big backyard and want to grow some food? Do you have a small balcony and want to grow some herbs? Come learn to start growing foods and culinary herbs for your kitchen. We will cover the basics of selecting and starting your seeds, building good soil, watering plants, and managing bugs and blights. Taught by Herman Yee, an avid gardener who has worked in many community garden projects in the East Bay.
